From June 11 - 14, a delegation of JSC ROSGEO took part in the 80th EAGE annual conference and exhibition “Copenhagen 2018 Opportunities presented by the energy transition”.
EAGE is a professional association for geologists, geophysicist, engineers, and geoscientists, found in 1951. This conference is the largest event in the world presenting recent developments in geophysics, geology, and engineering.
This year, ROSGEO participated in the event with an exhibition stand where it held presentations on the work of the holding, its projects, unique competence, and the services it provides. Several presentations addressed the world and arctic experience of its subsidiaries, JSC SMNG and JSC AMIGE, the holding’s multi-client geological & geophysical database on the Far East and East Arctic shelf, as well as capability and experience of JSC YMG to carry out seismic survey in the transit zones of the Arctic seas.
On the sidelines of the conference, the ROSGEO delegation held a meeting with EAGE top managers. Besides, talks were held with a number of international companies, such as: TGS, Spectrum, WesternGeco, INOVA, GEOEX, ION Geophysical, Wireless Seismic, Searbird, BGP, Fairfield Nodal, EGAS, Searcher Seismic, ЕТАР.
The discussions brought up potential and current projects, as well as opportunities to enhance cooperation.
